When the portable fire extinguisher is in use, the opening of the valve is realized by the downward movement of the pressure handle in the process of holding the handle and the pressure handle, so that the handle contacts the valve core and makes the valve core move downward. Therefore, in the usual non use state, is not allowed to press the handle and the top of the valve core contact. This kind of state that the pressure handle keeps a certain distance from the top of the valve core is realized by the safety device. At present, the most commonly used method is to set a safety pin horizontally at an appropriate position of the handle, and the lower end face of the press handle is placed on the safety pin or the handle is transversely crossed by the safety pin. The movement of the pressure handle is limited by the safety pin, thus effectively preventing the contact between the handle and the top of the valve core, so that the valve is always in the closed state. In order to prevent the safety pin itself from falling off from the pin hole, the end part of the safety pin is provided with a cotter pin or elastic retaining ring and other anti detachment devices.
